Well, 528 days have passed since our last - first! - post on this blog. What did 2012 hold? Jess ran her first half-marathon. Cody taught himself how to play violin and piano. We found a dog beach and enjoyed watching our puppy discover beach life. We had a miscarriage. We hosted lots of people in our house, including a couple from Japan. We celebrated our first anniversary. We moved to a new, smaller house. We dressed like cows to get free meals at Chick-fil-A. We spent many an evening watching the sun set from the beach. We traveled to New York City (Cody's first time in the Big Apple!) and visited friends in the area. We adopted a cat. We celebrated Thanksgiving with Cody's family and Christmas with Jess' sister. And the year ended with us discovering that we are pregnant again!
